Beginning Desktop Linux - FREE!
2 Saturdays, March 15 & 22
New Durham Library: 1:00 pm
Have you had it with Microsoft Windows? This two-session workshop looks at using an
alternative – desktop Linux. We’ll look at various applications on Ubuntu, put Linux
on a machine, and set up a dual-boot so that our machines can run two operating systems.
Sound unfamiliar to you? Don’t despair – the class requires only basic familiarity with
computers, and a tinkerer’s desire to “play around” with a machine.
