EVENING ADULT BASIC EDUCATION - FREE! Tuesdays & Thursdays ongoing through June 5th Farmington HS/Rm. 102 & 103: 6:30-8:30 pm.
Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes are for people who wish to improve their basic skills in reading, writing and math. Our goal is to help students gain the skills they need to be successful as parents, wage earners, and citizens. The class is open to any adult without a high school credential. Individuals interested in working toward a GED are welcome. Instruction is geared to each individual’s goals and abilities. Call 335-6200 to make an appointment with counselor Sally Cote to register for the class. Registration ongoing.
MORNING ADULT BASIC EDUCATION - FREE! Mondays, ongoing through June 2nd Goodwin Library (Farmington): 9:00 am to noon Individualized lessons for adults in basic reading, math, GED preparation, and English as a second language. STRAFFORD COUNTY ADULT TUTORIAL PROGRAM - FREE! Time and location flexible
The Strafford County Adult Tutorial Program provides free one-to-one tutoring in basic skills for anyone 18 and over in Strafford County. If classes are not for you and you want help with reading, math, writing, GED prep, or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), then the tutorial program may be your answer.
